1. General Payment Overview

These Payment Terms govern all payment transactions completed on www.fancytin.com. By placing an order and completing checkout, you confirm that you are the legal owner or authorized user of the selected payment method and consent to the charges applied to your order.

All prices displayed on our website are in Euro (EUR) and include French VAT. Shipping costs and any additional service fees are clearly displayed at checkout before you finalize payment.

These Payment Terms work alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy to form the full legal agreement between Fancytin and our customers.

2. Accepted Payment Methods

Fancytin supports secure, EU-compliant payment methods available via Shopify checkout for all customers located in France and the European Economic Area:

Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards

Major European digital wallets

Local French online bank transfers

Shop Pay and other official Shopify payment solutions

We reserve the right to add or remove payment providers at any time to improve security and checkout experience. Cash on delivery (COD) is not available for any orders.

3. Transaction Fees & Currency Charges

Fancytin does not apply any additional surcharges, hidden fees, or checkout fees for standard transactions.

If your payment account uses a currency other than EUR, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion fees, cross-border transaction fees, or international processing charges. These third-party fees are customer liabilities and will not be reimbursed by Fancytin.

In the event of unjustified chargebacks or disputed transactions ruled in our favor, we reserve the right to recover administrative fees and dispute costs incurred by our payment service provider.

4. Payment Authorization & Order Validation

At checkout, a temporary authorization hold may be placed on your account by your card issuer to verify funds availability. Authorization holds are automatically released according to your bank’s processing timeline.

Orders are only confirmed, processed, and shipped after full payment verification and approval by our payment processor. Failed, declined, or expired payments will result in automatic order cancellation.

For high-value orders or transactions flagged for security review under EU anti-fraud and anti-money laundering rules, we may request simple identity verification. Failure to respond within 48 hours will result in order cancellation and full refund.

5. Invoicing & Fiscal Records

After successful payment and order confirmation, a digital VAT-compliant invoice will be sent to your registered email address. Each invoice includes order details, item breakdown, VAT amount, shipping fees, and total transaction value.

If you require invoice correction or reissuance, please submit a request to hello@fancytin.com within 30 days of purchase. We retain all transaction and fiscal records in compliance with French 10-year statutory accounting retention rules.

6. Refund Processing Rules

All eligible refunds are processed exclusively through the original payment method used at checkout, in EUR currency. No alternative refund channels are permitted without written store approval.

We initiate all valid refunds within 14 calendar days in accordance with French consumer law and our Return & Refund Policy. The final timeline for funds to appear in your account depends entirely on your bank’s internal processing speed, typically ranging from 3–10 business days. Fancytin is not responsible for bank delays.

Partial refunds will be applied for returned items that fail inspection due to wear, damage, missing tags, or incomplete packaging.

7. Chargebacks & Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback or formal payment dispute, customers must first contact our support team to resolve issues through official customer service channels.

Unreasonable chargebacks, fraudulent disputes, or disputes opened without prior communication may result in account restrictions, order cancellation rights, and recovery of administrative and legal costs.

During chargeback investigations, we will provide full order evidence including payment logs, shipping confirmations, tracking records, and customer service correspondence to defend valid transactions.

8. Payment Data Security

Fancytin fully complies with PSD2, GDPR (RGPD), and PCI DSS security standards. We do not permanently store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or sensitive banking data on our servers.

All checkout transactions are protected by end-to-end SSL encryption. Payment data is processed exclusively by certified EU-compliant payment providers. Your financial data will never be sold or shared for marketing purposes.

9. Failed Payments & Order Cancellation

Payments failing due to insufficient funds, expired cards, incorrect credentials, or bank restrictions may be retried within 7 calendar days. Unpaid orders will auto-cancel after this period to release stock.

We reserve the right to cancel any order and issue an immediate full refund if we detect fraudulent payment activity, stolen payment credentials, suspicious bulk ordering, or abnormal transaction behavior.

10. Policy Updates & Amendments

We may update these Payment Terms to comply with changes in French financial law, EU payment regulations, or platform requirements. Updated policies will be published on our official website with a revised update date. Continued use of the website and checkout services constitutes acceptance of the latest terms.
